TO: Chancellor Peter von Kruger FM: General Secretary Sergei Puskov SUB: Uncertian Future
Herr Chancellor,
I owe you more thanks than anyone. You gave me the means to save the Soviet Union from the madmen who started that fiasco in Romania, you saved my family from certian death from the hands of our State Security, and you honorably pulled out of our country once the war was over.
However, I have a major problem on my hands. You see, because I defected to you, and now I am in power, the masses see me as a traitor to the Soviet people, a man who auctioned off our republics to our enemies, and who is nothing more than a puppet for your government. These thoughts have formed words, and it is only a matter of time before these words become actions...actions which may very well make the Winter War all for naught.
I do not know if there is anything you or your Alliance can do. My armed forces are so torn that I cannot commit anything to your war on Turkey. Right now, I just wish to make you aware, and hope that this works out properly. I am trying to save my country, but it seems I am one man working against millions.

To: General Secretary Sergei Puskov From: Chancellor Peter von Kruger SUB: Uncertain Future.
General Secretary,
I saw it as my duty to help you in your time of need. And I know you would do the same with trying and helping my family if the situation was reversed. I don't know if there is anything Germany can do to help, but we are willing to do what it takes to assist you in your endeavors. I do not wish to have another war with Russia, as two in the pass thirty years is enough. As for Turkey I do not see them holding out for to long with the amount of force the Alliance and other countries are bringing to bare on her. Again please let me know if there is anything Germany can do to help get your country back on it's feet, as we are still very much involved in the area helping out the new countries getting on their feet.
Sincerely,
Peter von Kruger, Chancellor.
