Assisted Liberation of the Dutch Guiana

General Antoine Périer received word from his Brazilian allies that the attack would begin at 7 sharp. He was ready to lead the French Foreign Legion into combat. It had been a while since these battle hungry few had seen combat. While some look down on this desire Périer respects it. He rather enjoys working with troops who look forward to their mission no matter the level of danger. He was also thankful that the 6th Tank Division would be handy. This would be his first time commanding tanks. Hopefully he would be able to make good use of them if given the chance.

"Tell the troops we move out now. A little head start won't hurt." Périer informed the Major

Resistance in Dutch Guiana was a push over. With only a regiment of soldiers stationed in the area the Dutch pulled back from the borders and pulled in for a last ditch defense of the Capital of Paramaribo, where the old Fort Zeelandia had been modernized and could house most of the regiment. A battalions worth of soldiers set-up road blocks and minefields on the outskirts of the city and awaited the Brazilian/French forces to invade, while the Regimental commander and the Commissioner of Dutch Giuana sent out a plea of help to the world....
