Project Started May 1940:
KV-3 "Mammoth" Super-Heavy Tank
Designed as an upgrade to the KV-series of tanks, this tank has been designed to allow a single tank the ability to provide itself limited rocket artillery support.
With dual 76.2mm guns and 12 125mm rockets (in two pods of 6), this tank is not designed to fight tank battles, but rather to destroy defensive positions that would be difficult for other tanks to breach.
Project Started: Aug 40 KV-1bis
Essentially, when the T-34 came out, the KV-1 was effectivly rendered obsolete, as it was basically a heavier, more costly version of the T-34. However, Soviet designers are redesigning the KV-1 with an 85mm main gun, to improve its firepower and put it back up to par as a heavy tank.

Started October 1940:
Sukhoi Su-4:
A new design for a multirole fighter, this aircraft is designed to be a jack of all trades, good at nothing fighter. Designs call for a Mikulin AM-38 powerplant (12 cylinder liquid cooled engine), metal frame construction with stressed steel rivited skin, breaking away from the conventional wood or fabrics for skin or frame. Canopy will be designed to maximize pilot visability.
Armament is 4 ShVAK 20mm cannons, 4 wing pylons capable of carrying 100 kg bombs (400 kgs total) or 8 RS-82 rockets
