To: Prime Minister Sir Thomas Andrews From: Chancellor Peter von Kruger Subject: Situation with France
Greetings Herr Andrews
I am sending this to inform you that Germany is at the moment taking a neutral stance in the ongoing feud with you and France. I have however closed the borders between France and German and am watching the situation with kean interest. This being said I have also sent a message to France asking if they wished Germany to try and mediate the differences between your two nations. I am extending the same offer to you as well. I do wish to meet with you and discuss this situation among other things, thus please get back to me with a time when we could meet.
Sincerely,
Peter von Kruger.

To: Chancelor Peter von Kruger From: Prime Minister Sir Thomas Andrews Subject: Re: Situation with France
Chancellor von Kruger,
At the present moment, the situation concerning France is shall we say, neutral? I've no intention on initiating hostilities with the people, unless they have such intentions on me. That being said, I can meet with you soon; I've finished with a number of foreign relations related meetings, and I can host you, or I can come to visit you directly, say, within the next two weeks.
I'll leave it in your capable hands to determine which would be most effective for you.
With respects,
Sir Thomas Andrews Prime Minister, the United Kingdom

Herr Andrews,
It has been a number of years sense I have visited England thus if would be possible to meet in England that would be for the best. Just give me a date and time and I will arrive accordingly. I have also received a telegram from France stating they do wish to resolve the issues you have between your two countries. I hereby will await your reply.
Sincerely,
Peter von Kruger Chancellor of Germany

To: Chancellor Peter von Kruger From: Prime Minister Sir Thomas Andrews Subject: Re: Meeting & situation with France
Chancellor von Kruger,
With respects, sir, I wasn't aware that there were issues with the French, beyond a personal distaste for their leader. Beyond that, If the first of the month will work for you, it will be fine by me. It gives us ample time to plan your security; and to make arrangements for your entourage.
Warmest respects,
Sir Thomas Andrews Prime Minister, The United Kingdom
