London, England
Sergei stepped out of the limo, dressed in his full dress uniform of a Colonel-General in the Soviet Army, but without his holster. His flight over on one of Aeroflot's modified Tupelov SB had been quiet, as Sergei was simply taking the time to read over the situation here in Western Europe.
He straightened his uniform, and headed inside, submitting to the usual security checks before heading inside. He was led to the meeting room, where he greeted the Prime Minister with a crisp salute before shaking his hand.
"Thank you for having me, Comrade Prime Minister." Sergei said in his Ukranian-accented English, "I am eager to discuss whatever you need to."

Sir Thomas Andrews, resplendent in the uniform of a full colonel of the Royal Tank Regiments, as well as his badges denoting himself as a Knight Companion of the Royal Garter smiled warmly, taking the other man's hand in his own. Sergei was 6" shorter than him, but still a powerful presence. He grinned a bit.
"Mr. General Secretary; It's good to see you, especially in light of ... past hostilities. As stated, it's good to put all that past us. What I would like, Mr. General Secretary, is to put together a Non-Agression Pact; and possibly an alliance. I know that our systems of government are... fundamentally different, but I think that given much of the world situation, we'd be best off working together, rather than against each other. To this end, I'd like to provide for expanded trading, as well as an open sharing of technology, if that suits you."

Sergei smiled as he listened to the proposal.
"My friend, while I am a loyal communist, I do not believe in Comrade Stalin's belief that the Soviets should force the world into the Revolution. No, my friend, I leave that for the workers of the world to decide if they wish to join in our Revolution or not." He shrugged, "Rhetoric aside, that is not why I am here. I would be more than willing to agree to such a pact, and perhaps even open exchange. But, a matter disturbs me."
Sergei sighed.
"My people from the Embassy in Paris reported they had to flee to Germany not too long ago. They informed me of a revolution that took place. According to them, Prime Minister Mannette is no longer the leader of the French People." Sergei explained, "My people left to get out of the crossfire, and fear of any anti-communists who would attack them. I have yet to speak to this leader, but what kind of man is he? And why have your nations broken off ties with one another, when it was your nations that smashed Arkangelesk."
Sergei shuddered for a moment at the memory of what he heard about that battle. The port city had only been recently repaired in May.

"Sergei, if I may call you that... Prime Minister Mannette was killed by the so-called revolutionary forces. I've taken his daughter and wife in, as Alain was a dear friend. It was the least I could do for them."
He shook his head, and poured himself a glass from the bottle of scotch on the table, gesturing that he'd pour Sergei one, as well, if he so chose.
"Speaking frankly; this De Gaul person is a rude lout. You know as well as I do that as a head of state, things become busy. He insulted me in a telegram; I replied in kind, yet maintained being diplomatically open, despite what he and his... did to my friend. I cannot allow personal feelings to sway my dealings; however, this ... this... foolish pig of a man decided to do just that."
The anger and ire in Thomas's face were quickly becoming evident. He took a few moments to compose himself, before continuing.
"Simply speaking Mr. General Secretary, I'm not altogether certain on the measure of the man. I've never met him, myself. But judging from how he carries on, I'd not judge him too kindly. But at the same time... I would not underestimate him. What happens next remains to be seen..."

Sergei nodded, first to accept the drink, and then again at the Prime Minister's words.
"I know what you mean, Comrade. In fact, it appears that Mister DeGaulle is in possession of the designs for the 76.2mm L-11 tank gun, and a number of DSKh 12.7mm machine guns. I believe it was him who requested the weapons in the first place. Mentioned something about trying to build a better tank." Sergei shrugged.
"But, I suppose that as an act of goodwill, and because I was partial to the previous government in Paris, I will cease all exportation of the machine guns to France." Sergei explained, and then sipped the scotch.
"Insulting a world leader as one yourself...well, that is quite immature." Sergei quipped in, "But, such is some of these leaders."
*Lenin help the stupid bastard if he insults Germany. von Kruger will smash into Paris before he can mobilize the French Army.* Sergei thought.
"I am quite open to discussing the agreements. We are most eager to open trade, and we may be willing to work out further exchanges. And a non-agression pact will serve us both well, as we can finally put the war behind us for good."

"Very good sir... Very good indeed. I do appreciate the fact that you'll stop shipments to the French."
He took another sip, and grinned.
"Here's what I have proposed... In exchange for your extended good will, we will dispatch a team of naval experts to assist in the reconstruction of your naval assets. We will also allow open and free access to the Mediterranean; seeing as it's largely become a British operated waters in light of the destruction of the Italian Navy in their abortive engagement over Africa. In addition, free passage through British territories will be extended to you. Whatever else in way of assistance we can provide, we shall do so."

Sergei sipped the drink, nodding and setting it down to reply.
"These terms are acceptable, and the Soviet Union is willing to extend the same territorial courtosies, and a helping hand to your forces whenever needed." Sergei explained, "And I will keep my forces on alert. If France tries anything, the Soviet military will be mobilized to support you. Even if Kruger does not approve, I believe I could convince him to let me move troops through his territories to smash the French."
Sergei smiled and sipped from the glass again.
"I may even be able to provide, shall we say, support that would not require a massive army." He said, smiling a little more.

"Intriguing; those same benefits would and will be extended to you and yours, if you should ever have need. In fact; my aides have assurd me that we can sell a number of vessels to you, from our reserves; our recent surge in ship-building has made up for them."
He grinned a bit.
"Now... your ...non-massive friends; I'd like to hear about that... We've a number of units ourselves who specialize in... similar tactics, I suspect."

Sergei set the glass down.
"There is not much I can tell you, but they are skilled at operating behind enemy lines. And our intelligence gathering branch is quite skilled at locating whatever needs to be found, or what have you." Sergei replied.

"Very well then, Sergei. Are there any other things we need to discuss at this juncture, or can we adjourn to things that are more pleasant?"
Thomas chuckled slightly, grinning at the Soviet General Secretary. He knew that despite his personal dislike of communism, he'd like this man.

Sergei shook his head, smiling back at the Englishman.
"No, I believe that is all I have to say on the matter. I will discuss our course of action with France with the Politburo. But the Soviet Union will stand behind the United Kingdom." Sergei replied, before raising his glass in a toast.
"To a bright and prosperous relationship." Sergei said, "Nasadrovina!" He then took a pull.
