To: Prime Minister Yamamoto From: King Baqir Zamir Amed III Subject: Congratulations Dear Prime Minister Yamamoto, I would like to congratulate you on your victory. I think you will make a competent leader for Japan, and your future is bright. Perhaps you could visit Iraq and tour Baghdad? Our capitol city is one to be proud of. I would also much enjoy a cup of tea with another leader in one of our renowned tea shops. As for business matters, Iraq would be very interested in a possible trade agreement and alliance. The world is becoming an increasingly dangerous place with the Germans, British, French, and Americans all becoming superpowers. We look forward to your reply. Signed, الملك أحمد باقر زامير الثالث

To:King Baqir Zamir Amed III From: Prime Minister Yamamoto Subject: RE: Congratulations
Dearest King Amed,
I would extend to you the deepest thanks for your congratulations on my 'victory'. This to me is no victory, i bare no ill will toward former Prime Minister Tojo.He was a man of the people, but i believe that the people need to be corralled a bit when their leaders hide things, such as an intense hate to our neighbors across the sea.
As to our business matters, King Amed, i will be frank and straight to the point. Japan is trying to remedy some of the damage of our previous administration to our military and our people. This is true, Germans fight against the Netherlands, The British Empire(including your own country) is involved with an action on Turkey that i feel was unwarranted.
The French are striving hard to regain back the shred of Napoleonic pride that they had stripped from them in the battle in the Netherlands by Germany's territorial gains in Poland and Luxembourg due to "treatises".
As for your country, King Amed, I am all for an alliance but, i will not grant any trading or bartering with your country until my own is rebuilt.
Us, the descendants of Japanese Samurai feel as if we should take care of our own in the face of reconstruction or new eras. I believe you will sympathize with me good King, if you were in my position.
Cordially Yours,
Japanese Prime Minister Isoroku Yamamoto
