TO: Peter von Kruger CC: Alain Manette, Thomas Andrews FM: Sergei Puskov SUB: Turkey
Sirs,
I know that you all are embroiled in the situation in Turkey, and I know you all have little reason to trust the Soviet Union. However, Turkey supported the previous regime in my country, and if the people are to believe that the Soviet Union will take no insolence, I must ask if it were to be permitted if the Soviet Army were permitted to assist in operations against the Turks. I will also put, at your disposal, the use of the KGB and GRU, if you require a more covert angle.
While you are free to respond back with a telegram, I am more than willing to host any of your or your envoys regarding the situation. I want to prove that I am a man of my word, and the Soviet Union will not be the power hungry nation it was before.
-Signed Sergei Puskov General Secretary of the Communist Party

Sir, If you feel that you must take actions in Turkey, I feel that you are more than welcomed to. However, as you are in the same Area of operations as Germany, I would wait for their reply.
