HMAS Australia
Finally the Naval Barrage was gaining Momentum. The Turkish Artillery was being blown apart by the big guns of the Commonwealth Ships and the Infantry was slowly but surely gaining ground and beating back the Turkish Counterattacks and if needed another several Brigades could be landed to help push the Turks back even farther. It was going to be tough, but this time the Invasion would work and the ANZACs wouldn't stop until they took Istambul

Peninsula of Gallipoli, Turkey. Morning of May 2nd, 1940.
Selâniki watched the continuing fight and sighed. He needed to take out those big guns and there was only one way to it.
"Abdullah, call Istanbul. Tell them we need to an Anti-Shipping strike and fighter support."
"Aye General." Abdullah quickly moved off to make the call.
Selâniki continued to watch the battle and turned again. "I want a Regiment of the 8th to pull up here as well, that will give us two more Regiments to push these bastards back into the sea."
"Aye sir." another aide replied.
"General, they say it will take about half in hour for the strike to arrive." Abdullah said, returning.
"Good, now all we have to do is hold until reinforcements arrive..."

HMAS Australia
Captain Harolds swore as the watch spotted Aircraft incoming. The ships fired off a quick salvo before taking evasive maneuvers. The Young Australian Captain wasn't under the impression that ships were invincible to aircraft, the incident with the Italians taught him that. He needed to get the ships in gear before they were resting on the bottom of the Ocean
"Helm, All head Flank, Left Full Rudder! Like hell we're going to let the bastards get us now! Radio Operator, get the HMS Glorious to send her Gladiators to help us out."
On the beach, the ANZACs continued their advance on the Turks. They continued to hammer back the Turkish Counter attack and make room for additional Australian Forces to land on the Beach. The Casualties were mounting for both sides, but the Aussies Continued on

Peninsula of Gallipoli, Turkey. Morning of May 2nd, 1940.
Soldiers cheered as the Turkish Air force finally made an appearence over the battlefield. Over head the forty-eight Hurricane fighters took up top cover at 15,000 feet as the bombers of the 1st Bomber Regiment flew in to attack the Australian ships and troops on the beach. The B-10s, and He-111s targeted the troops on the beach and let fall 180 250 pound bombs and 80 500 pound bombs, but their aim wasn't the greatest with all the smoke and explosions going on on the beach. Targeting the off shore ships, the Blenheims and the Vengeances lined up on the three British battleships off the coast. The Blenheims targeted HMS Malaya, while the Vengeances targeted HMS Warspite.
On the ground the 3rd Regiment halted their counterattack and took their place in line, as the Australian troops closed onto the first line of trenches where desperate fighting took place. The Turks held on as they knew reinforcements would be arriving soon, all they had to do was hold...
