Nikorasu Eda stood at the large wooden gates. He wore his light armor, for he would be performing after the funeral to entertain the guests, at his side he wore his Katana, sharpened fine, and still stained at the grip.
He awaited at the western entrance of the Imperial Palace . Admiral of the Navy Nagumo stood to his left and General Umezu to Nagumo's left. Both in full gear, almost ready to go to war.
Eda wiped the sweat from his brow, it was a bright fall day. As the trees around the Palace were starting to grow brown. It wasn't hot and yet it wasn't cold either, it seemed just right.
As the visitors began to pour into the main gate and along the parade route, The 3 men stood at the private door to the funeral, as not to be disturbed by onlookers.
"Well, I don't think Isoroku would've had it any other way" Eda remarked. "He would've, He'd rather been dropped into the sea aboard the Akagi" Nagumo responded quite coldly. "I doubt it" Umezu said, before wiping his nose "He'd have Seppuku'd, himself on your pretty little vessels" "You shut it Umezu, You have no idea what your talking about" Nagumo turned to him as he replied.
Eda put his hand to his forehead and sighed "Will you two just grow up," The first car began up the street. "We don't need a scene at Isoroku's funeral. Just drop it, smile, do whatever it is you do and just take care of this later"
As the first car approached, Nikorasu changed from frustrated look, to a sad gaze. He prepared himself for the meeting of the leaders of the free world.

It had been a long flight for Cisneros. As his car pulled up to the imperial palace, he could see the new leader of Japan, Nikorasu Eda, standing at the gates. Cisneros had looked forward to meeting this man, ever since his advisors had told him of the change in leadership. He stepped out of the car, and made his way up the steps.
"I have looked forward to meeting you, Mr. Eda. I am sorry, I do not know your official title. My men have told me much about the tragic death of Yamamoto, and I mourn. He was a good man."

Sergei stepped out of the car, in his full uniform, his wife with him and a plain black dress. The two approached the new Japanese Prime Minister, and both bowed poltely.
"Comrade, I am sorry for the loss your nation has suffered." He said, and lowered his voice to only allow the next part only be heard by the two leaders.
"If there is anything I can do to help find the murderers, please contact me." He said, before he and his wife moved along.

Eda nodded his head along with Cisneros. "I am Prime Minister now, he replaced himself with me the night of his death, I thank you for your concerns, please, make your way to the gallery and find your seat."
He shook Cisneros hand, and then held a hand out toward the walkway for Cisneros to continue down the small road leading to the gallery where Yamamoto's casket was placed in the middle.
As he lead Cisneros along, he heard another car pull up and a heavy combat boot touch the ground. Eda immediately turned. He nodded his head, confirming his thoughts. Russians. As Sergei spoke, he shook his hand after they bowed, as Umezu and Nagumo stared at him.
"Welcome. the Gallery is right this way." Eda leaned in, his voice turned dark "We have the situation under control. Don't worry about it, you will see" He looked up at Sergei with a condescending smile.
He moved his hand toward the walkway to the gallery.
