Sir,
I write this to you in the best interests of both our countries and the world. I do not wish for bloodshed to breakout between us, as in the past few months Germany and France had worked out a very positive relationship under Prime Minister Manette and I do not wish that peace to end.
That being said, I am hereby closing the German-French Border at this time due to the situation that exists between you and Britain. Trade will be allowed though but it will be monitored and inspected. I am also offering my services in trying and resolve the differences between you and Britain and am willing to host a meeting between the two of you.
Chancellor Peter von Kruger.

Chancellor Kruger, I understand your reasons and agree. I too do not seek bloodshed of any kind. I am willing to talk as I feel I am a reasonable man. I just find it very hard to take insults to my people whether they be intentional or not. Im sure you are aware of what happened between myself and the British leader. If he is willing to talk about it then I see no reason not to. I thank you for you willingness to help resolve these matters.

Sir, I am glad that you are willing to work out your differences between yourself and the United Kingdom. I am planning on visiting England in the next two weeks to discuss options. I am willing to meet with you as well and can come before or after the meeting with England. Please let me know which would suit you.

Chancellor Kruger, I would much prefer to meet after your meeting with the United Kingdom. It will allow for me to finish putting some things in order. Again I thank you for your help in this matter. Hopefully cooler head will prevail.
Prime Minister de Gaul
